Sorry ahead of time, but this is a rant. I went to a guy's yard the other day to potentially buy a few boosters. I got there and he was showing me around...all the while talking to me like I was a complete and total idiot about chickens. Anyway, we're looking at his fowl, and everyone of them was pale faced and sick looking. Half of his caterers were empty, and the other half was dirty. I asked him what he fed at one point...and this is what he said, "everything gets whole corn only all year except my show fowl, they get the good stuff." Needless to say, I left without anything. What bothers me so much is I know for a fact that he has well bred birds. I know where he got them from...and how well they were cared for at the other place. The man got too sick for them though and pretty much gave them to this other guy. Now the new owner is peddling them off the old man's name for 100-200 a bird and he's ruined them! Ok...rant over.
