I know there are several gamefowl breeders/fighters out there. If we all come together I am certain we can make it legal in the U.S. again. This isn't a bad sport. This teaches the young responsibility, pride, and keeps them out of trouble. This sport has been around for thousands of years. There is a reason it has survived so long. Let's not let it perish. It is a shame to see all the older clockers living like they have no purpose anymore. You see the passion slowly disappearing. Not having anyone to share family keep/handling secrets with. Surely if pot can be legalized we can maintain the sport of cockfighting. I know it is about who has the most money. I know there are several wealthy gamefowl owners! Let's make it happen. We have several small timers but there are a lot of big timers as well. Any in put, I'd like to see 5 cock Christmas Derby in all the old states that it used to be legal in!
