I have 3 stags. Im considering breeding. One is medium station a little knock kneed, but in short heels. A knock kneed rooster can usually cut like a razor. This cock is my favorite. He will eat right out of my hand.
The second was a little long legged for his body as a young stag. Now he is turning into a fine specimen. His body is catching up with his legs. He is in between on friendly. He will eat out of my hand, but occasionally will hit me. This guy is turning into a med- high to high station
The last stag is mean mean mean. He will not eat out of my hand but hits me. As a stag he had the best station med-high. His feet are right under his chest. When I first got them. He was my pick for breeding.
Lets say if they were spared. They were awesome. Topped the other cock every time. Head back feet out front. Hit head and neck and when turned the other cock. They shuffled the side and back. Now they have not been fought stags plus it is illegal. Now lets say like make believe next year they were put in a show. All three showed well, but stag number 3 was exceptional.
Would you breed the exceptional mean one over his good brothers? I already know my answer. I was just wondering...
