I'm planning to breed half siblings. They are the progeny of a single brood cock but different and unrelated brood hens. The broodcock is a sweater and the broodhens are a roundhead and a kelso. If I breed the sweater roundhead to the sweater kelso that have the same father, so the result will be 50% sweater 25% roundhead 25% kelso right? I researched about coefficient of inbreeding and in my understanding they will only be 12.5% right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Will the half sibling offsprings still be excellent as battle fowls? Will their size, speed and other good qualities decline because they are results of inbreeding?
