I acquired a Cock that I would like to breed. Only issue is that he did have a respiratory issue which is now past but ive read that if it was CRD associated with MG (i think its called), It can be passed down to its offspring.
I would also like to know how the old time cockers would test their fowl pre keep to see who had CRD as I read in a post somewhere in here. Someone said that they went and suddenly changed something in the roosters daily schedule, and that showed which birds had it. He also went on to say that only 15 or so out of 200 birds didnt have CRD and those were the ones that they put up. thanks for any info
