Well I have had the nightmare unfold in my chicken yard.
I thought that I had contaminated feed as my roosters weren't passing feed and they started dropping fast.
Two the first day then four or more a day for about 10 days. Between my friend and I we lost close to 40 birds. I lost 16 stags and cocks ,one hen and two settings of three month olds, and damn near my two best hens. They are getting over it after an excruciating week of nursing them twice a day.
I saw another cocker mention Newcastle disease in California.
Has anyone had this in their yards?
