I wrote this poem for my dad a few years back and thought a few of you might enjoy it.. I ain't no poet but I try
From the time I was small he's been bigger than life I recall..
Lessons learned and derbies earned..
Putting W's on the board is what he yearned..
Whether it was red, blue or grey he was tough everyday..
So tip your hat every once in awhile he's always done it with a smile...
Trophy's on his shelf collecting dust and the blood in his veins turning to rust...
Wisdom, age and class if you meet him in the drag he'll whoop your @ss......
